APRIL 2012: DYNAMIC CREATION WORKSHOPS

Led by core members of the Gargantua ensemble including; Jacquie P.A. Thomas (Artistic Director), Michael Spence (core member), and Diane Niec (core member).

This workshop offers a rare and exciting opportunity for professional actors to experience Theatre Gargantua’s critically acclaimed method of creating imagistic, physical, music theatre.

Participants will be instructed in Theatre Gargantua’s distinctive style of creation, including training in movement, voice, and text exploration & creation. Working closely with Theatre Gargantua’s core creative ensemble, actors will be given tools to develop original movement and vocal compositions, and will learn how to integrate these creations with text.

Perfect workshops for established and emerging artists!

DATES AND RATES: (two, three-hour workshops available)

April 11– 9:30am-12:30am

April 12– 9:30am-12:30am

Non-Equity Members: $95

Equity Members: $75

Please specify which workshop you would like to attend. Space is limited to 8 participants per workshop. Workshop confirmation is on a first come first serve basis, so apply early!

Please note: This course is physically demanding.
